Situation 2:
You are in a small bank buying traveler’s checks. You move to take the checks when you accidentally knock over a small ceramic figure on the clerk’s desk. It doesn’t break.

a) Oh, I’m sorry. Hope it doesn’t have any damage.
b) Oops! I’m sorry. Is there anything wrong with that?
c) Oh, I’m sorry. I’m glad it didn’t break.

The test has been driven from Hudson, Detmer and Brown (1995).

A & B don't work for me. C is OK, but something like It's a good job it didn't break would sound more natural to me.
