How should I reply if someone says "good morning/afternoon/evening/night"?

You can reply with the same phrase.
John: "Good afternoon Lingo".
Lingopath: "Good afternoon" or "Good afternoon John".

You say that your native language is American English. I'm curious about how you've been replying to these very common salutations up till now.

Hi!

What should I [strike]reply[/strike] say (no full stop here) if someone says "Good morning/afternoon/evening/night"?

Remember to start every sentence with a capital letter and to end every sentence with the appropriate punctuation mark. Also, make the words you are querying stand out in some way - you can use bold, italics or, as I have shown above, enclose them in quotation mark.
