Dear Sir,

Mum gave my sister a pair of sports shoes.
She loves ________ very much!

What is the best object pronoun, it or them?

Thanks!

Delphine

[STRIKE]Dear Sir,[/STRIKE] Unnecessary and inappropriate. Female teachers are reading this.

First tell us what you think, Delphine.

I think "them" is better and easy to understand, but someone may argue that 'it' is OK since it refers to "a pair".

"them" is correct.
