What is the exact meaning of I'm like why I will do it immediately?

For a start, that's not what he says. He says "I see something. I'm like ... why ... um ... I will try that immediately". I think he started to say "Why don't I" but changed his mind after "why".
There's no "exact meaning" for "I'm like". The closest, in this context, is something like "I always think".
