Sorry to gate crash
another members thread - especially as I am a very, very, very, junior member - but I often look at
other threads, as well as my own posts on this site. This topic has been discussed on the many
other sites that I visit, but the explainations given to contradict
each other. This site, in my opinion, is much better than
the others, so lets wait for a teacher to give us the correct explaination. My thoughts are as follows;
The other, I assume,can only be used when comparing/describing two things.
Another, can be used to compare one thing with any amount of things.
The Others, relates to everything except what you are comparing it to.
