Hi,

Can someone please explain what is the most suitable(correct) sentence for this situation, Thank you

Home ------------------> Office

I went to office.
Now I am in office.
I've got a call from home.

Caller should ask.....

Have you been there?
Or
Have you gone there?

Hi,

Can someone please explain what is the most suitable (space required here) (correct) sentence for this situation. Thank you.

Home ------------------> Office

I went to the office.
Now I am [STRIKE]in[/STRIKE] at the office.
I've got a call from home.

The caller should ask.....

Have you been there?
Or
Have you gone there?

Note my initial corrections above. I don't really understand the question though. Do I understand correctly that someone at your home is telephoning you at the office? If so, and you answer the phone, it would be odd for them to ask "Are you there yet?" You are clearly at the office. You answered the phone!
