[Vocabulary] What is "bazaar poster"?

Could you teach me what "a bazaar poster" is?
Does it mean a poster which is colored too brightly or too loud?

It's on 14th paragraph of following BBC article.

BBC News - English or Hinglish - which will India choose?
In his tiny apartment, the goddess blazes forth from one wall in the lurid colours of a bazaar poster. Modelled on the American Statue of Liberty, she is pictured against a map of India, wearing a sari and an English straw hat, standing on a computer and holding aloft a giant pink pen.

I'll be greatful for your help.

These posters are frequently found in Indian bazaars (markets), advertising films, political parties etc. etc.
