He does say "The mistress ...". However, I don't have time to watch the whole thing so I can't comment on who he was referring to.
 
He's referring to Her Majesty the Queen, of course. (Prince Harry's grandmother is Queen Elizabeth II of the UK.)

The mistress of the wryer side, but also highly competitive internationally.
 
I guess that it is the Queen too, as she is mentioned a few seconds earlier.
 
May I ask what "of the wryer side" means?
(I was able to catch the phrase when I watched it, but I had no idea what it meant.:oops:)

To be honest, I don't really know. Of the two sides, Britain and the US, he seems to judge that Britain is the 'wryer' side. He's possibly referring to a perceived difference in sense of humour between the two nations. I don't know. I have no cause to think Harry understands either—he responds only to the charge that she's highly competitive.
