Group dynamics is associated with behaviour of people when in a group.
Gender is referring to the sex composition of the group, could be just males, or just females or a mixture of both males and females.
In collaborative learning, where collaboration is an important part of the learning process/lesson, the two elements above affect (have some influence on) development and learning.
