Hi
The subject in our course book is related to education. In a separate part, the students are taught some related expressions or words. Among them, there's "it's a steep learning curve". I wonder if it's got any special meanings far from the meaning of the individual words. I heard one said it means "learning too much in a short period of time". Is it right?
Thanks a million.

Hi,

It may well be, but IMO, "learning a lot in a short period of time" would be a better explanation than "learning too much..."
