I am writing a sentence for my assignment, and I am wondering if the sentence in bold is a natural type 2 conditional sentence.

“Extraterrestrial civilizations might be far more advanced than we are, and they might possess technologies we have never seen before. If aliens attacked us, we couldn’t fight back with our primitive weapons.”

Doe the sentence in bold sound natural and correct?
