Wanting to teach abroad

Hi,
I am new to this website and have a question about teaching English abroad. I am currently taking a TEFL online course and would like to teach in another country once I am certified. I am mainly interested in teaching in an Arabic speaking country or East Africa. Could anyone recommend a country or programme that is good for a female beginner? Thank you.

Most Middle East jobs that I see advertised are looking for CELTA type qualifications, at least. Does your course have teaching practice?

The Middle East, as a general rule, does not accept online qualifications for TESL (and that includes everything from your TEFL to an MA TESOL). There are always exceptions to the rule, but that would depend on your other qualifications (for example, a qualified elementary/primary teacher). If you aren't too concerned about making much, if any, money, then you could probably pick up a job teaching in East Africa - check with volunteer/aid organizations.
