[Grammar] Wanted: a thesaurus for phrases

Hello,

Does anyone know of a thesaurus for common phrases and idioms? For example, if you enter the phrase "in contrast" it would output "on the contrary". I have tried thesaurus.com, Roget's and many other places, but most phrases that I enter are not recognized. Thanks in advance.

I see your difficulty. Perhaps a dictionary of collocations would be a good place to start?
