Is the following sentence acceptable?

There are special buildings-arcade which people can walk in to escape the rain when it rains.

It is to me (if you add an S to 'arcade'). Some teachers would prefer 'arcades in which...'.

Are all the buildings arcades?

If not, then how about:

There are special buildings, including an arcade which people can use to escape the rain.
