Here's an example to start you off:

He reduced the price by ten dollars. Correct.
The price has been reduced by ten dollars. Correct.
The price has decreased by ten dollars. Correct.
The price has reduced by ten dollars. Not really used in BrE (I don't know about AmE with this one.)

Please reduce the price. Correct.
Please decrease the price. Incorrect.

Well, I'm not a teacher but as far as I know in the US they just removed the has and it should be like this The price reduced by ten dollars. instead of The price has reduced by ten dollars. Not really used in BrE (I don't know about AmE with this one.)
