Hello,

Is it possible to use 'have got' instead of 'have' in formal writing?

Welcome to the forum, Hamed.:-D

Please give us a complete sentence to consider.

Sorry, my English is poor. It is a general question.

I am not a teacher.

In BrE, the 'got' in 'have got', when used to mean 'have', is tautologous and should not be used in formal writing. You hear and read it all the time in less formal situations.
