I used the following sentence and was corrected, which is correct?

When I am coming home

When I am going home
 
I used the following sentence and was corrected, which is correct?

When I am coming home

When I am going home
Neither is a sentence. This is a sentence:

When I am coming/going home, I often think about my day's work.

You give your native language as English. Surely you know the difference in meaning between come and go?
