Hello,

I'm trying to better understand the meaning of the verb "channel" and use it in context. Have I used it correctly in these sentences? Are they okay?

Their grievances may be channeled into violence.

The government has been trying to exploit people's fear and channel it in a direction that benefits the state.

You need to channel your energy into finding a house which suits your needs.

You've got the idea, but would anyone else change the first?

And you can also use channel to mean communicate with the dead. Some psychics say they're adept at channeling.

You've got the idea, but would anyone else change the first?

I would. I'd probably use "anger" instead of "grievances" and I'd change "may" to "might".
