Use of Virtual Reality in ESOL

Hi, I work for a business that produces VR software for schools (think Metaverse Education). The business is currently looking to produce some VR learning scenarios, specifically focussed around ESOL learning. If you have any experience in ESOL teaching, what sort of VR lessons/experiences can you imagine being useful to administering ESOL learning? Any ideas are welcome. I just want to see how ESOL teachers can imagine VR being utilised best to aid teaching.

Virtual environments for immersive role-play situations.

Set-up for pretty much any task-based learning activities, like problem-solving tasks, instruction-giving tasks, etc., with virtual objects that can be manipulated. In other words, simulated environments and equipment for such tasks that are unavailable in reality.
