"The sudden resignation of the financial director put the company in a very ______ position".

In this sentence should I use "unsteady" or " vulnerable"?
Please elaborate more cause I have a big confusion about these two words! ^^

What have you found about the two words from the dictionary?
I would use "unstable" instead of "unsteady".
We use "vulnerable" when something is prone to attacks.

Welcome to the forum.

The word that immediately sprang into my mind was "precarious".

These words have different meanings. Either word could fit reasonably into this context.

Where did you find this sentence? Is this a test question?

The word "untenable" might work there.

Why are those your choices?
