Is "tourism activity" correct?

"Parks, restaurants, clubs, bars and other tourism activity are situated in my town. That's why there is a lot of entertainment."

"Parks, restaurants, clubs, bars and other [STRIKE]tourism activity[/STRIKE] tourist attractions are situated in my town.

1. I think you mean tourist attractions. See above for how to use it.

2. I'd use: "[STRIKE]That's why there is[/STRIKE] They provide a lot of entertainment."

3. "Situated in" is a bit overly formal and passive. I'd say something like: "My town has a lot of entertainment thanks to all the parks, restaurants, clubs, bars, and other tourist attractions."

4. But then, these places are not merely tourist attractions. Maybe you're actually trying to say that all the tourists being present at these places is a source of entertainment? Perhaps something like this could work: "My town has a lot of great entertainment thanks to the tourists that come for our parks, restaurants, clubs, bars, and other attractions."
