'To love' vs 'to be loving'

What is the difference between 'I love' and 'I am loving'?
 
What is the difference between 'I love' and 'I am loving'?
In my opinion "loving" in "I am loving" is an adjective describing "I". "I am a loving person".
Some people say "I am loving it" to mean that they are doing/experiencing something that they love at the present time".
