[Vocabulary] to keep somebody from doing something

Is it correct to say "to keep somebody from doing something"?

- We are going with you, and you cannot keep us from doing this!
 
It's OK.

'You cannot stop us from going' is more common.

Use 'keep' like this:

'Nobody can keep me from my children'.
