Tired of sleeping on the floor, a young man in Teheran saved up for years to buy a real bed.

(Source: New Concept English 2, Longman)

I’d like to know if both of the revised versions below are correct.

A. Being tired of sleeping on the floor, a young man in Teheran saved up for years to buy a real bed.

B. Having been tired of sleeping on the floor, a young man in Teheran saved up for years to buy a real bed.

Maybe I should ask which revised version is better?

Try:

I would like to know if either of the revised versions* is correct. (I don't think so.)

*Or: revisions.
