I'm confused to use "throw out and throw away" in this sentence:
1. Is there a trash can to throw this out?
2. Is there a trash can to throw this away?

Which sentence is correct?

Is there a trash can to throw this in?

I'm confused and don't know whether to use "throw out" [STRIKE]and[/STRIKE] or "throw away" in this sentence:
1. Is there a trash can to throw this out?
2. Is there a trash can to throw this away?

Which sentence is correct?
Neither sentence is natural. Try:
Where can I throw this out? Is there a trash can
("bin" in BrE) around here?

AE trash can = BE waste bin/rubbish bin

Or, dustbin.
