When introducing a friend should I always say "this is Anna" for example not "it's Anna"? I heard in a video the speaker said "it is +name and it is +name" or "it's" but not "this".

It's Anna doesn't work if there is nothing preceding it.
It's fine if somebody has just asked you Who's this?

What could be preceding it?

5jj has already suggested "Who's this?"

(Nothing else comes to mind right away.)

"This is Anna" is fine when introducing her for the first time. I would expect to use/ hear, "It's Anna" if, for example, you had previously introduced Anna to the listener as in "Don't you remember, it's Anna?"
