This check is valid for 90 days. If it is not cashed within 90 days of issuing it will expire.

Is it correct to say "within 90 days" here? Is it correct to say "within 90 days of issuing"?

Yes.

I don't know that issuing is wrong, but issue is more natural.

Isn't there a date on the check?

It is valid for 90 days after that date.

From an actual check:

Void after 90 days

NOTE: AE check = BE cheque

In Canada it is also cheque.

And in Czech it's šek, or so my Czech mate tells me.

I'll get my hat and check out now.

šek šek šek šek

Did you pay the Czech hat-check girl with a cheque?

Isn't the cheque valid on the same date?

Isn't the second sentence unnecessary?

... or the first.
