Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask what is the correct verb and also which is the main subject for verb in question for sentence below:

This area has a high concentration of computer-related companies that make/s silicon chips

Question: 1. Which one is the correct verb, is it "make" or "makes"?
2. Which one is actually the subject for the verb in question (make/s), is it "companies" or "a high concentration" or even something else?

Thank you.

Hi, Urarina. Since this is your first question, perhaps you could tell us what you think the answer is.

To find the subject, think about exactly what is doing the 'making'.
