In the right context. I would like to make sure if somebody is offending me and I am tolerating him. But then can I say: "There's a limit to patience/tolerance. I'll tell your dad.

Thank you, Rover. I did that means I have to "my, etc". There's a limit to my patience/tolerance. Right?
One more question, how can it be used without "my"?
