[Grammar] there is/are+ all sorts of things

There's all sorts of things that needs to be done.

Is the sentence above correct? I think it should be with 'are' instead of 'is'. Am I right?

Technically, it should be "there are" but we very frequently use the contraction "there's" in this construction. However, what is definitely wrong is the use of "needs". That should be "need". It follows "sorts" and "things" so should clearly be plural.
