Is the following right? For example, do I need to put "the" in front of "studies" and "chosen"

his section will include studies related to the perception of racism even after the election of Barack Obama and chosen methods. In addition, this section will include the strengths and weakness inherent in studies related to the perceptions of racism among African Americans even after the election of Barack Obama. This section will review and synthesize studies related to the perceptions of racism among African Americans even after the election of Barack Obama.

 
If you're talking about specific/known/previously mentioned "studies", then use "the."
In your first sentence "and chosen methods" doesn't make sense.
