Is it wrong to use "its" in this context?

"My friend says: "If my baby is crying for milk, I would do anything to stop its crying in any place. If you feel disgusted at the view of a nursing mother just don't look. There is nothing obscene about nursing a baby in a public place."

Hi, Rachel!

Her use of "its" is fine. She can also say either "his" or "her," depending.

Corrections for you to make:

- Delete the quotation mark before "My."

- Change "says" to "said."

- Put a comma after crying.

- Delete "in."

- Change "any place" to "anywhere."

- Change "view" to "sight."

- Put a comma after "mother."
