Hi all,
"The rain having stopped we continued our journey".
The above is the answer given for online exercise of synthesis of sentences from http://www.smmpalwal.com.
I would like to know if I change it into:
"Having the rain stopped, we continued our journey." Will the meaning be different? What's the difference between the two structure?

(... the two structures)
I think someone will tell you to put a comma after stopped in example 1.
Example 2 doesn't work. The word order makes all the difference here. It suggests that "we" arranged for the rain to stop with someone in higher authority.
