The quality of life in some big cities is getting worse. What is the main cause of this and what solutions can you suggest?
Nowadays, life quality is becoming a major problem in large cities. Most people are not satisfied with their living situations in these areas. The main reason for this issue will be discussed in this essay. Additionally, some steps should be taken to enhance the life quality in cosmopolitan cities.
Inevitably, some factors are influential to degrade the status of life in a big city. Certainly, overpopulation is the main reason for this matter. In fact, lack of institution facilities in undeveloped regions such as modernized hospitals, universities, industrial companies and factories persuade those who live in small towns or rural areas to migrate to large cities. The result of this movement would be more population in the modernized cities. Undoubtedly, most of them may not find an occupation with a rational wage or cannot afford their expenditures in these areas, therefore, the rate of crime, burglary, and robbery will be on the rise. These matters create numerous disorders and decline the quality of life in big cities.
In order to tackle these problems, some measures should be considered by governments. As a long-term solution, they can establish or move some factories to the rural areas or outskirt of the cities to provide career opportunities for their dwellers. This way not only reduces the migration to the developed cities, but also will decline the social disorders in these regions. In short-term, the proper supervision and more surveillance should be necessarily carried out by police and other authorized organizations to deter the criminal behaviors or curb them in big cities.
In conclusion, overpopulation in large cities plays the vital role to decrease the life quality. However, providing the job opportunities in suburb areas along with the police supervisory in big cities would be the suggested solutions to enhance the life quality.

In my opinion, "overpopulation" is an odd word to use to refer to cities. After all, they are by their nature densely populated.

Welcome to the forum. :hi:

What is the purpose of your piece of writing? What are you going to do with it when you're happy with it?

But there may be a population threshhold beyond which cities become increasingly unworkable. My personal choice of threshhold is five million. Yours may of course be much higher or lower.
