In answer to the first question isn't it wrong to use "the" in my first sentence, because I mentioned it for the first time and there may be other news channels.

"I am subscribed to the telegram news channel. My favourite news magazine is the Art News." I googled and saw such sentences as "if you want to join a Telegram channel", "a Telegram channel is.."

But in the second sentence I used the article before "Art News" because it is it's name.
