Can I say "The longer the sentence is, the more difficult it (is)". I obmitted tobe "is" in the second part.
Is it right?

I believe "The longer the sentence, the more difficult it is". Omitting the first "is" sounds better to me.

Or, "The longer the sentence is, the more difficult."

But I prefer charliedeut's version.
