The king has brought new stamps in power.

The government has run new coins and notes.

Please check.

Perhaps:

The government has minted new coins and issued new banknotes.

I have no idea what the other one means.

With the first, are you talking about postage stamps?

I would guess that the king has issued new postage stamps, but the original is unclear.

The king has minded new stamps. No EMS I didn't mean the postal stamps. It was a kind of coin but it wasn't the currency. Every person of a particular state had it in ancient times. It was a kind of evidence that they were the resident of that particular state.

Tufguy, banknotes are not minted. They are printed.

It sounds as if the king had issued some new kind of residency permit, but it would depend on the legal system of the time and place.

Do you mean an official seal? That was a sort of engraved stamp which was put into melted wax which then dried.

This is the Google Images hit for the kind of seal/stamp I'm talking about.
