Have I used "have money come out of ears" correctly and naturally in these sentences?

1. It's true that dentists have money coming out of their ears, but they deserve the money they get.
2. I used to have money coming out of my ears when I was working for that company.
3. The prices are so high that only people who have money coming out of their ears can go shopping these days.

1. It's true that dentists have money coming out of their ears, but they deserve the money they get.

It would be more natural to end it with "but they deserve what they earn".

2. I used to have money coming out of my ears when I was working for that company.

That's fine, but consider also "I had money coming out of my ears ...".

3. [STRIKE]The[/STRIKE] Prices these days are so high that only people who have money coming out of their ears can go shopping. [STRIKE]these days.[/STRIKE]

You can also move "these days" to the start of that sentence, and you can use "nowadays" instead of "these days".
