The Korean peninsula is located on the eastern side/the far east of Asia, at 30 degrees latitude. So it has four seasons and continental climate. Spring is the starting season in a year. In spring, ice melts with warm temperature. Flowers bloom in fields, and new leaves sprout from trees.

Are the underlined correct?

Perhaps:

In the far east of Asia, Korea is at 30 degrees latitude. It has four seasons and a continental climate. In spring the ice melts, flowers bloom, and new leaves sprout on trees.

1.I'd like to keep this, but I'm not sure if "fields" needs an article or not.

Flowers bloom
in fields,

2. Also, this. Which is better?
Spring is the starting season in a year/
of a year/of the year.

Flowers bloom in fields.

OK. Only in fields?

Say:

Spring is the starting season of the year.

Or:

Spring begins the year.

Use "Flowers bloom in the fields" if you're talking about a specific area with specific fields.
