Have I made any mistakes?

The diplomat who caused a fatal road accident was able to escape prosecution because of his diplomatic immunity. The police applied for a waiver of the immunity to pursue the case, but their request was rejected, which angers and appals the bereaved family. They refused any financial compensation and only seek justice for their killed daughter.

I think killed daughter is okay, but I would prefer dead daughter.
