Just got a little confused on whether using the a would be correct or not in

The company launched a software for interior designers
or
The company launched software for interior designers

I'd say "a software programme" or "a software application" (whichever fits better).

The company launched software for interior designers
This could work if you were speaking very generally.

"A software" is wrong.

'A software package', perhaps?

How many times in your experience as a native speaker have you seen "softwares"?
