Hello

I want to describe the movement of this ship in the sea. Does the verb "cleave" work here?

Is this sentence that I have written okay?

The bow of this massive titan of a ship cleaves slowly through the vast blue sea.

I feel like it can be expressed better.

I think that your sentence is OK, but that it would work better with "its way" added:

The bow of this massive titan of a ship cleaves its way slowly through the vast blue sea.
