What's the best (academic) way to tell it? And what's the difference?

The analysis/study has been conducted/carried out/done/performed/undertaken... using this data or method...

There are too many options for me.

You're asking two separate questions.

With analysis, I would suggest done or performed (conducted and carried out)don't really work, in my opinion.

study is a different question. Here, conducted and carried out work well, but using this data doesn't.
