Does the sentence in question, namely, "The 60 days start the day after you receive this letter" mean "The 60 days come into force/enter force the day on which you receive this letter" or "The 60 days come into force/enter force the same day that you receive this letter" or does it mean "The 60 days come into force the next day after you receive this letter"?

Is my thinking right?

It quite clearly says that it starts "the day after you receive this letter". I would guess that it means what it says.

It's 'come into force'. Forget 'enter force'.
