Hello.

T (5).png

The above sentences have been written by a British native speaker. My question is about the meaning and usage of the term jam here. It's a new one on me. Actually, I haven't seen it being used that way before. Could someone elaborate? Did you ever come across it before? Is it common in BE/AE?
PS. I kind of interpret it as "if that's your thing".

In what context did the person write those words?

As a matter of fact it was a dating site and those sentences were presented as her quote.

It must be the second meaning given here:

In this context, it means something you particularly like or enjoy.

For some reason, when you click on the link with the following blurb from search results, it redirects you to the same link Probus posted, which does not include the definition shown in the blurb. It says it's redirected from the 'my jam' entry, but I can't seem to find a way to view the actual 'my jam' entry.

2. slang Something one particularly prefers, desires, enjoys, or cares about. I knew classic literature was your jam, so I thought you might like this book ...

I suppose it is what people used to call your bag a few decades ago.
