https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/will definition 5 gives the following definition for "will":

will modal verb (LIKELY)
(also 'll)
used to refer to what is likely:

1) That'll be Scott at the door.
2) You will have heard about the plans for next week. (there are more examples in the dictionary)

Question: Can I replace "will" with "would" in sentences 1), 2)? Like this:

3) That'd be Scott at the door.
4) You would have heard about the plans for next week.

Sentence 3 works. I can't say why, but for me, sentence 4 doesn't.

I can't say why, but for me, sentence 4 doesn't.
Would have is a conjugation with a specific meaning. That's why it doesn't work: we expect the sentence to continue with something like You would have heard about the plans for next week if you'd been listening.

I think it's possible in the right context. However, "would" is weaker (more tentative) than "will".
