Hi! According to a mothertongue, is target audience the same of targeted audience?
Are they synonims of target group?
I have to translate it in Italian and I have some problems to catch the difference between the two terms....

Target audience is an accepted phrase in marketing. It refers to the primary group of people that, usually an advertising campaign, is aimed at appealing

Targeted as past participle of verb target, taking the position as adjective in place of target, does not mean the same. It basically means; to aim at or for something; as:
targeted objective, targeted weapon, the targeted speed etc
