Hi, I wanna ask..

Which one is correct ?

She takes her pet for a walk.


OR

She takes her pet on a walk.

In the UK, you take an animal FOR a walk.
 
In the UK, you take an animal FOR a walk.

Yes, that is much more natural in the US, as well. If you are going on a walk yourself and the pet just happens to be accompanying you, you might say "on a walk." But "for a walk" is the phrase used all the time when little Fido wants some fresh air.
