suspect, opposite of doubt?

I think "suspect" is the opposite of "doubt", the former is thinking of the the possibility of something, while the latter, about the negativity of something, right?

Effectively, yes. The first means you think he might be (or probably is) a spy. The second means you think he probably isn't a spy.
