Which are correct?

1) What will happen if a child doesn't receive sufficient data to learn a language properly?
2) What will happen if a child doesn't receive sufficient data for learning a language properly?

3) We don't have sufficient date to predict the course of the asteroid.
4) We don't have sufficient date for predicting the course of the asteroid.

I prefer the ones with the infinitive. I don't think the other two are incorrect, but seem a bit 'off' to me.

If you correct the typos in 3) and 4), they’re all fine.
